Chase Woolner is a Los Angeles based Puppeteer and Puppet Designer for Film and Theatre Projects.
Chase Woolner was born with a sock puppet on his hand and probably has one on his hand right now.
Chase has been puppeteering since the age of five when he started performing with Red Moon Puppet Theater in Chicago.
He joined the San Francisco Bay Area Puppet Guild soon after, becoming its youngest member at the time. Later he founded one of the Nation's few high school puppetry clubs, which is still going strong today with 137 alumni.
Chase is a member of the Puppeteers of America, UNIMA-USA and has been a participant at several of the Eugene ONeill National Puppetry Conferences.
Chase is currently pursuing his BFA degree in Puppetry at The California Institute of the Arts (CalArts). In 2008, he was the first undergraduate accepted into the program.
