Chase Woolner is a Puppeteer and Puppet Designer based in Los Angeles, California.
As a performer Chase’s passion for puppetry started at a young age. Born in Chicago, Illinois he started performing for his classmates in elementary school. Since then Chase has worked and trained with many of the top puppeteers and puppet builders working in film, television and theater.
As a designer, his work for theater has appeared at the Edinburgh International Fringe Festival (UK), Chicago Fringe Festival (IL), Los Angeles Fringe Festival (CA), and the O'Neill National Puppetry Conference (CT)
Chase is currently a student at the California Institute of the Arts (CalArts) and was the first undergraduate accepted to major in puppetry with the Cotsen Center of Puppetry Arts.
Chase is available for both performance and design/construction for special projects on case by case basis. His performance reel and a brief portfolio may be viewed on this website. For additional information concerning projects and his resume please contact him here.
